This page will inform you about my high school years in my native hometown of Dorchester County, South Carolina.

In August of 2002, I began my high school adventure at Woodland High School. It is the only high school in Dorchester School District 4. It was created in 1999.

In order to graduate with a South Carolina High School Diploma, students must earn 24 required units of credit as outlined below.

Like many high schools throughout South Carolina, Woodland High School has three programs of study for students: the college preparatory program, the tech-prep program, and the honors program depending on whether the student's goal is to enter the workforce, the armed services, a two-year degree at a community college, or a four-year degree at a university. ​
SECOND PLACE IN THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ESSAY CONTEST
During my sophomore year of high school, I won second place in the Americans with Disabilities Essay Contest. My English teacher encouraged me to apply for the contest based on my excellent writing skills in class, but I never thought that I would be selected as a winner.
